Associate Professor Alex Polyakov is an Obstetrician, Gynaecologist, Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeon and Fertility Specialist practicing in Melbourne. He graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2000, undertook specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Victoria and was awarded FRANZCOG in 2010. He subsequently completed Reproductive Biology Fellowship at the Royal Women’s Hospital and Monash Medical Centre. Further academic qualifications that Alex holds include Master of Reproductive Medicine and Master of Clinical Epidemiology/Biostatistics. In 2020 Alex completed Master of Health and Medical Law at the University of Melbourne Law School.
He is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (University of Melbourne) and a Clinical Director at Melbourne IVF. He is on the register of RANZCOG as a medico-legal expert and provides medico-legal opinions in all aspects Obstetrics, Gynaecology and fertility.
