Associate Professor Collier is a registered General Surgeon. He has expertise in General, Gastrointestinal and Breast Surgery, and is a previous head of a surgical unit at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and the Institute of General and Gastrointestinal Surgery at Epworth Healthcare. He is an Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne where he undertook his medical degree and later obtained his Master of Surgery.
He was a member of the board of the Medical Defence Association of Victoria, and after amalgamation with the Medical Defence Union, of Avant Medical Defence organisation.
Associate Prof Neil Collier is able to provide reports in medicolegal cases with emphasis on medical negligence matters.
