Cathy Kefford began her career as a physiotherapist in 1990, working in rehabilitation and acute neurosurgery before becoming the Physiotherapist to the Neurosurgery Unit at the Royal Children’s Hospital, where she was responsible for the acute, rehabilitative, and long-term management of children and young adults with neurosurgical conditions.Cathy’s private practise expanded to include all ages as the children grew older.
Cathy has been providing expert medicolegal advice for over ten years. Her special interests include spasticity management, complex condition management, functional electrical stimulation, hydrotherapy, and the use of support animals. Cathy and her therapy support dog (Bella) travel throughout Victoria providing expert medicolegal assessments.
