Dr Jeremy Bartlett is a highly experienced adult and paediatric orthopaedic surgeon in Brisbane.
His qualifications include MBBS (Qld) FRACS (Orth). He is registered with Medical Specialist (Orthopaedics) Medical Board Qld and with the UK Medical Council. In addition, he is also a member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA), the Australian Paediatric Orthopaedic Society, the Royal College of Surgeons and the Australian Medical Association (AMA).
Starting his career as an intern, in 1981, he went on to hold various positions at the Mater Public Hospital in Brisbane. After completing his orthopaedic training, he commenced his Orthopaedic Private Practice and continued as a visiting Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Mater Public Hospital. This has kept him very busy and enabled him to gain a vast experience in orthopaedics. His strong interest in Sports Orthopaedics with adults and children has also seen him work with various high-level sports teams.
His private practice focuses on Sports Orthopaedics including knee constructions, knee arthroscopy and shoulder surgery across all age groups. He is an experienced joint arthroplasty surgeon specialising in both hip and knee replacement procedures.
Further interest includes paediatric orthopaedics including management of congenital deformities and neurological conditions including Cerebral Palsy.
Whilst building up his expertise, he has held various committee positions and has found time for presentations and papers relating to his expertise in orthopaedics and providing medico legal opinions with IIME.
