DR Mark McCombe is a highly experienced Ophthalmologist specialising in eye trauma, complications of eye surgery, disorders of the retina including diabetes and retinal vascular disease and vitreous-retinal surgery.
Dr Mark McCombe has been in practice as an ophthalmic surgeon since 1991. He continues to work as a surgeon in the public hospital system, teaching surgery and is involved in peer review activities
with surgical colleagues. He maintains an active surgical private practice. He has provided expert medico legal opinions with IIME for over 10 years and is qualified to use the AMA guide for evaluation of Permanent Impairment Assessments. His areas of expertise are general ophthalmology, eye trauma, retinal disease and surgery, diabetic eye disease and retinal detachment repair.
