Dr Paul Gow is a senior gastroenterologist and hepatologist with extensive experience in medicolegal assessments and expert reporting. With over 20 years in a full-time public hospital role, he has worked in the Liver Transplant Unit and Gastroenterology Unit at Austin Health, as well as The University of Melbourne. He now operates in private practice, bringing a wealth of clinical and academic expertise to his work in gastroenterology, hepatology, and liver transplantation.

A graduate of Monash University (MBBS Hons), Dr Gow completed his Gastroenterology Training at the Austin Hospital in 1998, followed by an MD in liver physiology at The University of Melbourne. His advanced training includes fellowships in liver disease at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, UK, and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, UK.

Dr Gow is widely published, with over 200 peer-reviewed research articles in gastroenterology and hepatology. He has played a pivotal role in supervising PhD research projects and remains actively engaged in academic and clinical advancements.
