Dr William (Will) Davies is an Emergency Physician and is currently Clinical Director of Emergency Medicine for the Clarence Valley in Northern NSW. With 6 years’ experience as Director of an Emergency Department he overlooks clinical incident investigation and quality and safety measures for the 2 departments under his management.
With over 15 years as an Emergency Physician Dr Davies has worked in Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Iraq. He has experience as clinical lead of retrieval services, hospitals, emergency departments and rural/remote rescue teams.
As a partner and major contributor to the Emergency Medicine Core (EMCore) Conferences, he is well recognised as an expert in his field and has provided educational content and lectures all over the world to thousands of Emergency Physicians and Rural Generalist Doctors.
Dr Davies has postgraduate qualifications in diving and hyperbaric medicine and high altitude and mountain medicine. He is a Fellow of The Australasian College of Tropical Medicine, Associate Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators and an Honorary Fellow of the Australian Venom Research Unit.
Dr Davies has extensive experience in providing expert medico-legal opinions.
