Fitness for Duty
As an employer are you concerned about the health and safety of your employees? Under the Work Health & Safety Act 2011 you have a “primary duty of care” if you have a reasonable belief that a worker may not be fit for work due to a medical or psychological condition which is non-work related. IIME facilitate this employer paid service offering expert medical and neuropsychological assessments on a worker’s ability to perform their role. A Fitness for Duty assessment includes;

Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy home services
Our team of experienced Occupational Therapists offer a national in-home assessment service specialising in medicolegal reports for clients with acquired brain injury, multi- trauma orthopaedic injuries, amputees and neurological conditions.
Our experienced Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists provide in home assessments to determine a person’s ability to perform routine daily activities following their personal injury. Our clinically experienced and analytical Occupational Therapists will report on;

Advisory case teleconferences with expert medical specialists
Not sure who the most suitable expert is for your case, or even whether there is any liability or causation for your case? Contact IIME to arrange a ‘teleconference’ with one of our experts before spending large amounts of money for a full written report. A teleconference following a file review can be useful in getting to know your ‘expert’ prior to proceeding to a written report. This service can help to alleviate any unnecessary costs for your case.
Vocational Assessments
Vocational assessment reports provide a labour market analysis and functional capability assessment based on the workers employment history, transferrable skills, education and interests. Vocational assessment findings identify suitable employment options, any further training and education requirements and prospects of obtaining suitable employments including salary comparison to pre-injury employment.
Permanent impairment assessments
